Handmade especially for us here at Judith Glue, by Roelofs & Rubens. A gorgeous and totally unique ceramic hanging ornament of a traditional Orkney Chair. A much sought after and loved part of any Orcadian household. These traditional chairs date back hundreds of years and were made from materials that were plentiful.. straw and driftwood from the shores. They are still made here on the islands but nowadays made from hardwoods such as oak, ash and walnut. If you visit our Real Food Cafe you may even get to try out an Orkney Chair!
