Designed by Judith and made in Orkney by one of her experienced knitters based in their own home, the landscape design long scarf is knitted in luxurious soft Italian Merino yarns with Scottish lambswool which makes it very soft and lightweight to wear. The colours in this gorgeous scarf reflects the light and textures of Orkneys red sky at night and all those wonderful sunsets we have. This scarf is double thickness but very lightweight and cosy to wear. Each one is totally individual as the yarns are knitted together as they run off the cones of wool which gives each scarf its own unique look.
Judith uses a fully fashioned method for making her collection and each piece is shaped by hand on a small domestic knitting machine then sewn together and finished by hand. When you buy a piece from Judith's collection you are truly buying an item that has been painstakingly made in a home and not mass manufactured.
