Designed by Judith and made in Orkney by one of her experienced knitters based in their own home, the landscape pillbox hat is knitted in luxurious soft Italian Merino yarn and Scottish lambswool which makes this very soft and lightweight to wear. It has been knitted and shaped by hand and lined in soft cotton. The landscape design reflect the colours, light and textures of Orkney and depicts the rolling grassy hills of Orkney.
Judith uses a fully fashioned method for making her collection and each piece is shaped by hand on a small domestic knitting machine then sewn together and finished by hand. When you buy a piece from Judiths collection you are truly buying an item that has been painstakingly made in a home and not mass manufactured.
We do carry some Orkney knitwear stock but if the piece you choose is not in stock when you order we will contact you and make one up especially for you which may take up to 5 weeks.
