These Wild Grasses drop earrings feature two overlapping sterling silver strands, one in polished silver, the other hand-enamelled silver, hanging from silver posts. The drop earrings are hand-enamelled in 'Meadow' enamel in our Orkney workshop.
The wild and windswept coastlines of Orkney and Caithness, in the north of Scotland, are covered with marram grass that sweeps from side to side in the sea breeze. This hardy grass inspired Sheila to create her 'Wild Grasses' collection. Delicate free-flowing designs, layered with silver or gold, enamel and gemstones.
Note: Any measurements provided are approximate due to each piece being hand-finished.
