This tiny rare plant, that you can find in the fields of Orkney is so delicate and beautifully perfect . You can often see them just above the Cliffs of Yesnebay on the West Mainland of Orkney.
The beautiful and rare Primula Scotica flower was the inspiration for this collection. These tiny flowers are about 8mm and are only found in Orkney, Caithness and North Sutherland, usually near coastline. Sheila designed her collection to match the actual size of the flower with its five heart-shaped petals.
Primula Scotica are naturally purple but Sheila’s silver designs are available in a variety of enamel colours. Please enquire if you are interested in enamel colours not shown.
