Sheila Fleet Great Yellow Bumblebee Dress Pendant in Sterling Silver (EPX273-GRYEL)

This Great Yellow Bumblebee dress pendant in sterling silver features a cheerful bee in vivid enamel colourways, beautifully framed by polished silver wings. The Bumblebee design measures approximately 18mm by 23mm and hangs from a sterling silver wheat chain.

Orkney is one of only a few places where the Great Yellow bumblebee can still be found, making it one of Britain's rarest species of bumblebee. As a result, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust is working on a project dedicated solely to saving this particular species.

Sheila Fleet has developed this special collection to closely resemble the markings of the Great Yellow bumblebee, with its distinctive yellow tail.
