Our Malt Whiskies are made in the two most Northerly Scottish Whisky Distilleries in the UK - Highland Park Distillery and Scapa Distillery.
As for our Gin we have three local Gin distillers "Orkney Gin Company" based on the small Island of Burray producing a variety of spirits , "Kirkjuvagr" The Orkney Distilling Company which is on Kirkwall's harbour front produces their own gins and have just launched " Fara Whisky " and "Deerness Distillery" based on the East Mainland of Orkney producing their own Gin and Vodka and now their Deer Sound whisky. 
J Gow Rum a fairly new edition to the Orkney drinks producers are building a name for themselves is a Pure Island Rum inspired by Pirates and is truly distilled by the sea off the first Churchill Barrier causeway.
