An elegant Pictish Seahorse ring in sterling silver and Electric enamel. The seahorse design measures approximately 8mm by 16mm and sits on a 3-4mm* wide sculpted band.
Sheila took the inspiration for her Pictish Seahorse collection from an ancient symbol stone found buried in a garden at the Ness in Tankerness, Orkney. The seahorse carving in yellow sandstone was discovered in 1986 and now resides in the Orkney Museum in Kirkwall.
