This curl neck sweater has been designed by Judith Glue and the colours and textures have been influenced by the beautiful Sea Grass which is a flowering plant which form meadows under the sea in shallow coastal areas. The meadows are extremely important as hosts for many different animals. Mapping has been on going in Orkney for a few years where there is a key part of the work to protect this valuable marine ecosystem happening.
It is beautifully made in Orkney by one of her experienced knitters based in their own home, this traditional fair isle pattern is made with Scottish lambswool with a mix of Italian boucle and mousse yarn with a touch of cashmere.
This sweater has a delicate curled neckline with striped ribbed cuffs and welt.
When you buy a garment from Judith you are truly buying an item that has been painstakingly made in a home and not mass manufactured. Judith's designs reflect the colours and textures of her homeland, Orkney
